This picture is of a VC-3 dash and you can see the crank hole is still closed on it. I have looked at a lot of VC, VF, and WC closed cabs and all of them used the side stays with the central latch.
Gary, what model VC do you have? Are you sure the cab is original? Have you shared details with Gordon in Scotland? He keeps a list of all the 4wd VC and VF trucks.
