Rubber hose or small funnel on the carb bowel vent.

The brass tube you can see inside the carb throat is the bowl vent, cut at an angle, is a direct path into the float bowl. A couple ounces of gas poured in there will keep it running for long enough to get the pump going full blast. May take twice.

Any spillage will just prime the cylinders.

Be sure to re-install the air filter before hitting the key. A major purpose of the filter is as a flame guard.

Te pump should be self priming from there.
