i did look in the archives but i thought someone may have updated it a little... my m37 looks to have been taken care of . i want to change the oil but im so unclear on what to use. a guy at work said if its never been apart.detergent oil may make the leather seals leak. ( dont know if it has leather or rubber). then before that he told me to use 15/40. im asuming the eng has never been apart. the oil is black but not sludgy looking.or thick. i was going to use 30 wt detergent what about 10/30, or 10/40. 15/40, 30 wt detergent . its not going to get driven hard or worked. no winter driving. i just dont know what to use. it has 33,000 miles no smoke at start up.???? weekend cruiser.
