66' TWPW Brake Bleeding Problem

Try and make this short...66' TWPW upgraded to front 1 ton disc & 73 D300 master with aftermarket proportioning valve..all new parts front to back... had good brakes till I had to change out master (for another reason) so I feel new rear wheel cyls appear good...NO leaks anywhere..fronts draw clear fluid with ease...keep getting burps of air from both sides in the rear.......back & forth many times.....get hard pedal that holds strong after 4-5 pumps...but spurts of air persists
Any ideas...??
