Vacuum assist from the manifold? that would be unique. Undoubtedly, for high altitude situations.
Or maybe, you have an M37 pump. I'm not sure the FFPW's had the two stage pump for vacuum assist of the vacuum windshield wipers. Somebody here will know. But, I doubt you will need it, especially if you have electric windshield wipers, or as is more common, non-operational vacuum wipers.
Who knows what people have put on these engines? The regular pump should be fine.
