About 56 years ago, (I can't believe I just wrote that) a friend of mine who owned a muffler shop, cut the rivets out of the centers of the rear wheels of a pickup I owned. He reversed the centers and welded them right back in place. I drove that truck for a couple of years with no problems. And it was my first vehicle, so I drove it hard. :)
