the oil level in the bath filter rises as it gets more and more dirty. it may be that you need to change the fluid, clean the element and replace. i was suspect of this type of filter until i saw it in action. my m37 was used in a dusty environment one summer. at the next oil change, i discovered the oil level higher and when i drained the bowl saw lots of grit and grime. old reusable technology still works. mannyc
