Thought I would post this on the open forum first to see if I could get a quick sale. If it sells on here I will make a contribution to Joe for the sale.
1946-1950 1st series Dodge Power Wagon Cab & Doors For Sale,
Dodge Power Wagon cab and the two matching doors, from a 1947 WDX. Nice solid parts from Colorado. The cab is a shell only. The doors are also shells no inside door parts. I took the guts out of the doors a few days after I took the pics of them. I have lots of inside door parts if anyone is looking for them.
The doors are the later style doors that will accept either a vent window or non vent window door parts. Overall they are nice doors. All the seams are intact with no rust of separation. No rust out any where on the doors. They do have some extra screw/bolt holes in the face of the doors from after market mirrors. The drivers side lower door hinge does have a plate on it on the outside, this area will need some work. The passengers side lower hinge is nice no cracks. Both doors are straight. I can guarantee there is not any rust of bondo under the primer on the doors, no hidden surprises.
It is a nice cab overall no rust out anywhere, but will needs some work in other areas. There are some small dents in the back of the roof where it meets the back of the cab, (above the window) they don’t really show up in the pics. Also there is a dent in the drivers cab corner. Someone cut the firewall in a few areas, that will need to be fixed. I have a nice uncut firewall from another cab I would include (for a little extra)with this cab, if the buyer wants it? Also someone added some gauges to the center of the dash. Overall it is a good solid straight cab, that will need some attention in a few areas. Nice starting point if your cab is rotted out, or beat to death. The cab floors are solid.
Cab and doors are located in Northeast Colorado, near Holyoke. I can ship the doors via FedEx ground. The cab will either have to be picked up or freighted. Or I can meet someone on interstate I-80 at the Ogallala Nebraska exit if a hauler is coming through.
Price, I’m asking $650 for the cab, $285 each door, plus FedEx ground shipping on the doors. I’m flexible on the price, or would make a package deal if some wanted to buy the cab and doors together. I open to offers on the parts, prices are not written in stone.
