Need advice - gear upgrade

Just sold my 1/2 ton carryall and am beginning work on a '47 FFPW. I found an old hemi to put in it, but I am wanting to do something about the original gearing. As opposed to the old carryall, I would like to be able to reach highway speeds. Any help / guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Ron
