Don have you been able to compare frames? I have kind of wondered about the strength of the 1/2 ton frame with the weight and torque of the 3/4 ton running gear. I really like the ramcharger/traildusters and wondered if shortening a 3/4 ton frame would offer a significant strength improvement? Probably if I ever built one it would not be for heavy off road use so may not matter but I do have a tough time passing up a good truck pull.
