I have a 65 WM300 which has a pretty tired engine. When it starts, it smokes badly, but finally gets better after it has run for awhile. I started it up today, after it had not run for a few days, and there was no smoke. Drove it about 1/2 mile to a pole barn to put some gas in. Then I drove it back up the hill to the garage.

Half way up, it started to smoke dramatically and it run rougher...one or two cylinders missing. It did improve slightly but gushed out a lot of oil outside the garage. There looks like an oll leak coming out of the number 6 cylinder between the head and the block. After leaking a few onces of oil when running, it does not lead further after it is turned off.

So this doesn't make much sense to me. Any ideas what is going on?
