Or more likely, nothing inherent to the winch, pto or otherwise. Tree strap broke, snatch block nailed him?
In my book, the hypocrisy is cheap. Some people use cheapest components and ask the moon. They use the cheaper first series bed replacement on later trucks, then do not even add a spare mount- or spare. The electric winch is cheaper to hook up than the PTO, or even hydraulic conversion. It's cheaper to leave the orange peels than sand and recoat. It's cheaper to use GI scrap running gear. Cheaper 16.5 tires. On cheap wheels.
Some people get their business principles from P.T. Barnum. But I suspect them of operating from mommy's purse, and don't need to find a new one every minute.
And there are so many good guys out there- Dan.M., Chris I, Charles T.,, truckloads of them here. It's a real shame to see guys doing business that way.
