We were cleaning out around the shipyard...these have bees stored up above our boiler room since before I started work here 35 years ago. I thought they were small but they's heavy! Probably 500lbs. They have two sets of oars. They must be the first of the fiberglass boats...on the inside, the wood is branded with the Davidson logo & it says they're plastic? Looks like fiberglass to me & all varnished wood inside...needs a little cleaning :)
Anyone in the Vancouver area that needs a project...bring your trailer!
These were originally lifeboats on our steam derick & tugs.
