Glad to hear that so many want to keep their trucks stock, that's fine.
Me, I want to drive my truck on the freeway at 65 and not sweat a panic stop. I also will need to parallel park and not be a hazard at speed.
My truck is getting a 318, full syncro 4 speed, gears, discs and power steering and brakes, and correct lighting.
I've had old vehicles before. Perhaps due to the vintage brakes/handling/speed/safety, I find I just drive them alot less.
That's the biggest reason. I want to drive the truck daily & not get tired of it. Most of those old vehicles only get driven occasionally.
