The main reason for disk brakes is they dissipate heat fast and are resistant to fade. If the braking system (drum or disk) is slowing the wheels to an impending skid, the braking system had done all it can do to stop the vehicle.

If you are worrying about heat build up and fade on your FFPW, you have the wrong vehicle for your driving style/needs.

If you need power steering, you have the wrong vehicle for your body type ;)

If you need a Flaming River steering column, bucket seats, a radio and gold leaf trim, you have the wrong vehicle.
