Like Milo says, if you drive a truck with the stock system, then drive one with the stock system AND a vacuum booster, you will say " I want one".
A significant improvement in braking; you don't have to "stand" on your brakes in a situation when someone stops short in front of you.
Also looks period as these vacuum boosters became available in the 50'.
I also followed Kaegi's advice and had my shoes arced. Helps with adjustment being "right".
Finally, if you rebuild your wheel cylinders, DO NOT throw away the pistons if they are cast iron (unless badly pitted). THe kits now come with aluminum pistons. Do a search on the Forum - these aluminum pistons are a problem - avoid them.
