Dan sells good stuff. I associated with him regularly back in '05 / '06 right before the business really took off. His stuff is pretty much universal and can be adapted to fit. His customer service is really good too. My current Carryall build has some of his offset tie rod ends in my cross over steering.

V8 swap should be fairly easily done. Yes, you can pretty much bank on some sort of custom mounts. Make them bolt to the frame rails rather than just welding them. You will be much less at risk for frame cracking and you can always just unbold them if you change motors down the road (cough cough, go diesel).

It aint gonna be a bolt in, and I've never done a V8 swap. This is my first engine swap project in a WC honestly. Its a lot of work to do it correctly; then again I've been told that my end resulting machine is intended for more precise performance than the average "re-power".

Also don't forget... what is more important than moving it quickly is being able to steer it quickly and stop it quickly. Plan good brakes and steering before planning good power.
