You are correct, I DO like to talk about how I solved the problem, isnt that what the Forum is for?
In order to eliminate driveline vibration, I needed to get my driveline angles into spec. One thing I needed to do was tilt the transfer case up in the front (or down in the rear, same difference)Since the overdrive unit needed to be installed at the exact plane of the transfer case, the tail of the OD was dropping way to low for acceptable clearance. That is why I moved it back enough to add a second u-joint and the 2 additional rubber mounts, allowing me to raise the tail end up out of harms way. It solved my problem quite nicely. I also added a 1/4" skid plate under it. I have done some serious off roading and it has withstood it fine.
The overdrive is a great product.
