OK glass bowl OK and no glass bowel is OK. Truck could have come from the factory with a glass bowel or not. Both pumps will do the job.If you have a parts book for the truck it should show what kind of pump came with the truck. BUT both pumps will work. Some trucks had the glass bowl up by the carb, Have fun Advance parts store Part #587 Good Luck Bill. PS Some boys here on the forum may have a better answer,
