Hi all,
The mounts for my overdrive conversion are GM trans mounts front and back. The u joint does not flex because the OD is inline with the output shaft of the transfer case. If it were at an angle, it would need to be behind a splined shaft because there is fore and aft movement when a u joint flexes. The u joint is just a convenient coupling between the transfer case and the OD. Great to see Waynes installation and to hear that he is a happy customer.
