I think that's least likely, because of the brakes. I used to work for a man who had a '33 Deusenberg. Deusenberg was the first to use hydraulic brakes, and they were so proud of it that they put a brake pressure gauge on the instrument panel. Also, this man's Deusenberg, at least, had a big straight-8 engine. I was told, Duesenbergs were shipped from the factory without a body and every buyer had a custom body built by a body shop (back when body shops could still build bodies), so most are unique. He told me his '33 was worth $300,000 when I was working for him back in 1980, so I imagine they're worth millions today. The only time I saw it run, he was driving the governor in it in a parade. Doesn't seem like something that would end up at a mine way up in the mountains.
