G.M. made close to 100,000 Corvettes during their peak two years of production. So, it's not a numbers thing. Trucks, especially big, old slow trucks don't get much attention.
Still, this truck should have been in the $50,000 range at auction, I would think. $27,000 would have been a deal for a Power Wagon enthusiast. I guess just not for the average car guy.
The guy who bought it to take it to auction is now probably wondering if he made a mistake. Some rich collector will eventually buy the truck to put in his recreation of a 50's service station.
