Reading your story, it is not the kids, but it reads to me like the dad who is at fault here, he raised them to be like that.
Todays kids? I just had two teenage Marines at my farm working all day helping me get my WWII trucks moved around in the barn. They also helped me get a M49 tanker running and moved. A couple of years ago, I had two teenage Marines help me on one of my trucks here, they worked all day, one of them made the comment how they wanted to get the truck running because it was their last day. I asked what do you mean by your last day? They both told me the next day they were both flying out to Iraq. They spent the last day in the States helping me!
I see some great American kids here, God bless them.
