With regards to the shimmy it seems that I am travelling about 40 mph my top speed on a flat paved road with no noticeable bump suddenly the front end/steering starts the wobble. I slow down and the wobble disappears. I have not notice a shimmy at lower speeds. I have adjusted the steering box so there is very little play at the steering wheel (maybe approx 5 degrees). The steering knuckle arm is tightly secured to the flange so don't think that is the problem. I need to rebush the steering gear shaft (there is some play there) but in the meantime I was considering using a dampening device to see if that may correct the problem with out going the rebush route. The front springs appear to be secure
