Chrysler also made a 301 poly in '55 they called the Spitfire same poly 354 block but smaller bore (actually the same as the stroke). These motors are prized by the dry lakes car guys who switch out pistons and heads to hemi configuration, add a 671 supercharger with all the build tricks to make the lower C.I. classes. My buddies dry lakes car is set up this way in a 32 ford and dyno', 1000hp. His speeds are over 200mph.
