I don't get on much but couldn't pass this one up. He struck out on the USFS side too. FS rigs were dark green until 1955. Then they did go to lite green with grey tops, but not the same green. There was no gold leafing. The shields are current shields not the same in 54. And were on the door only. Official Use was not plastered all over. Smokey stickers weren't on the vehicles either. Nice try but has limited his customers. My guess is that he didn't have any idea of what FS rigs looked like back then.
