I couldn't find a NOS foot starter switch. I can't find NOS glass. Good used switches are too expensive. I will not claim my '48 B1PW126 is a restoration. I will get it as close as possible. It will be incumbent upon me, should I decide to sell it, to inform any probable buyer that it is not all original. I think that as a group dedicated to these trucks, we are all responsible for teaching and passing accurate information on to new owners who are willing to learn. Caveat emptor is a wise attitude to keep. Education and research make it so much easier to spot the phonies.
