I think restored means buyer beware, even if it is defined. Most would twist the meaning to suit their needs. Restore would not mean done right by any means.

For me enjoyment of the owner would be more important than any definition.
Definition would really be useless unless I were a judge and needed that info to asses a score.
Definitions would in a sense take the pleasure from the owner and transfer that to a judge.

I really like the fact that when I click on a link for a photo I have no idea what I will behold, that’s why I keep looking. These trucks were built as work horses not show trucks. They were built to be modified for the owner’s personal needs, not as toys for boys, not for judges.

This is not to say I think there is no place for pretty trucks, reread above statement.
Leave it to the owner, buyer, and onlooker to decide. After all art is in the eye of the beholder and these trucks are truly art.
