I'd love to have a very nice un-restored truck with good original paint. But, not so much that I'm willing to add another truck to my collection of stuff.

When I do a repair, I try to do it like a competent and conscientious mechanic or farmer would have done it back-in-the-day.

I'm more interested in preserving the feel of the truck than "restoring" it. That allows plenty of room, but not enough room for fancy paint jobs and engine swaps or Flaming River steering columns, Stewart Warner gauges, bucket seats and Rhino Lining sprayed everywhere.

I think the most beautiful thing on a FFPW is an untouched, original dash with all the original instruments usable and working.

Sure, it's your truck. But, that doesn't mean your not ruining it for the next guy.
