I tried the stock WW2 shear pins in MU2 and they broke way too easy. I then switched over to grade 5 bolt and only broke one of those when my foot accidentally hit the gas while winching and it sheared the grade 5 bolt easily. all that engine HP is no match for one puny 5/16 bolt. the rest of the winch is more than strong enough to handle the extra force.
