I thought about that when i was doing my truck because I have some good top frames too, but they are different radiuses, but besides that the way they folded the steel to make them makes it very hard to weld continuously without filling the groove for the rubber seal with weld. That's why I bought a windshield frame from Co. No rust. ha ha.
