The amount of current that a starter will draw is dependent on load. So, if you are trying to disconnect a jammed starter under load, the amp draw could be in the hundreds.

As stated by others, you will not usually be trying to switch off a circuit under load. If your intent is to protect your truck in the event of jammmed starter, you would need a switch rated for interrupting several hundred amps.

Otherwise, starter draw will not be a factor in selecting a battery connect switch as the starter on a WDX draws from the battery on it's own independent circuit only when you step on the starter pedal.
