Every part on that truck is a factory part found on all AMERICAN FIRE APPARATUS products from the outfit in battle creek michigan. AFA is widely known as the Rolls Royce of fire trucks, due to the fact they had 95% of their handles knobs locks and call out plates etc made out of solid brass. Additionally front pump units were another brass laden feature. This truck received a correct restoration for a AFA Vehicle. Trying to suggest to the forum that the owner should have dumbed down the resto because you prefer a certain bare bones look is your opinion...and it has been duly noted. The owner has sales books that were used by AFA employees for sales calls. Every part on that truck can be verified on that book. Additionally the IBM card from dodge historical for that truck shows it as original cowl/windshield chassis from Napa ca dodge dealer . Factory open cab. Anywho. It's more fun to watch it in action. WWW.OCDRESTO.COM. There is a video on the truck there on the site.
