I do not believe that there is a stated max diameter for the brake drums. They did not care about such things then. Drums are difficult to come by. My comment is to contact Ray at Helitool and get one of his disk brake setups. I am waiting for his dual master cylinder setup to go into production. Old trucks are great but the brakes in the PW are very poor and are very old technology. I can keep everything else stock but when it comes to safety, it is worth the money. When it comes to my life or keeping the truck original, my life wins.
