My opinion, of course, but I think you would have been more constructive by posting a list of manuals you have and prices, or merely even stating you have some, most or all of the VPW manuals and you can save folks a few bucks. Then give your contact info. I sure would have contacted you before I bought some of the M37 manuals from VPW.

BTW, the majority of the M37 manuals were decently priced. Only a couple of the more expensive ones were more than a new quality reproduction manual is. I think I got a good deal. I did not look at the civvy manuals, and have no clue what they should be priced at.

As far as VPW being expensive, yes, for most items they do cost more. On the other hand, you have to look at other factors as well. They take a credit card. I can pick up the phone and bidda-boom the item is on its way. For others, I have to go to the bank after work, get a money order ($4), then go the Post Office the next day for a Priority Mail letter (about $4.00 inc verification). So now I have to add my time and about $8 to my order. Peanuts for a $450 transmission, but a lot for a small order and it may exceed the difference in price. Also, some of these small dealers are hard to reach and don't have a published list of what they have. So add in long distance charges. I often use the Buy It Now function on eBay to order stuff from AB Linn. Why? Because it is sort of like a catalog of what he has, and that's his usual price anyway. Otherwise I have to email him. He has no catalog. That can add time if I'm in a rush. I also like to see the picture of what I'm buying. Some of the small part time dealers are selling junk. I know because I got burned a couple of times. So even if they seem to have a smoking deal on a chrome muffler bearing, I may pass and pay the extra buck or two from VPW or some other large dealer.

So, if you are a dealer, where is YOUR info?
