Censorship in any public forum...and the last time I posted to this forum it was still open to the public...undermines the credibility of the entire site....

Case in point....the last forum had a posting of 251 water pumps available at the local parts store for a heck of a lot less then the $100.00 VPW charges....but that post was not deleted.... I just stated that I will be raising my prices to adjust to what VPW is advertising.... and mine gets pulled....As I stated before VPW does set the bar on prices for the rest of the industry, and yes!!!! us vendors do check the other guys prices, and I am just matching mine to the increase but still be competitive with VPW...

Do not get me wrong, but some things need to be pulled, Foul language, pornographic material, libelous postings....yes... I have to guard against it on the 2 sites I moderate...the porn guys are always trying to post their stuff with links, never ending battle....but to pull a post which is just competition to another vendor...that is protectionism of that vendor....and that hurts the whole hobby with price collusion amongst vendors.

Bad move Joe.....I think it will bite YOU and the credibility of your site.....Oh ya I will get over it as I am raising my prices on the computer right now by as much as 125%...and of course I am emailing other vendors to inform them of VPW prices ....VPW may have a lock on parts...but literature is another story...they do not have it all.....Thanks Dave and VPW.....
