The frame takes a lot of media. With the pressure pot you'll use a lot less than my gravity feed, which needs about 180lbs of material. The best media to use is the 'green' polymer, it works best on rust, walnut shells work best on castings such as trans and transfer cases, but it leaves a residue on steel. The green won't leave a residue, BUT it is about $24 for a 22 lb bag, so you'll need to figure out how much media your unit consumes and estimate accordingly as to what it will cost. Silver Sand (NOT SILICA which can KILL!!!) is only about $9.00 for a 90lb bag, Wear a respirator and hood, or whatever money you save doing it yourself will be spent on a heart/lung transplant! = )
