Thanks for clearing that up. I just made an assumnption this was a Dodge gearbox. As I said in my earlier post I would attempt to make something work with a Ford case were I doing it again. Just because I like the NP better than the Muncie. What I did with my '67 was use the original shift hole for the OD by fabbing a complete new stick from the correct sized rod and then moved back the required amount and made an identical hole for the main gear box. This way the sticks were directly inline with each other and I could use the same original style shift boots. I used a single stick for the transfer case with the accordian rubber boot that came with that type of stick. The whole thing appears factory original.
