WC axles vs PW axles.

I have a set of late 3/4 tom WC axles. I am thinking of rebuilding them with Ray's disc's and putting them under my WDX. Are there any drawbacks to them? The pro's for me are the centered rear diff, and the ability to clean out and service the diff's without pulling the axles. Also my truck wont be down while having the hubs machined for the disc's. What are the con's if any? Will I have to change my yoke on the xfer case?
