How far back does the ranger OD move the transmission? I am just wondering if I would have to move the transfer case back in my WC 53 to make room for the jack shaft.

I am running a chev engine and sm420 transmission. Nice combination but I need an overdrive to drop RPMs even with 4.89 gears.

Another question on ODs. Jeep use to have an OD by Warn and now by Saturn (Advance Adaptors) that bolts into the back of the transfer case. Is a setup such as this possible with the NP 200 (Standard 2 speed PW Flat Fender transfer case)?
