I think what you've got there is pressurized lye. I doubt if it's harmfull to truck parts except aluminum or chrome or zinc (die cast), only leaves a green patina on brass/bronze.Keep out of eyes, if it makes you hands slippery thats only cause it dissolveing your skin.But I love the idea of thinking outside the box- make your own solution of lye , it's available at the supermarket!
