Occasionally came on a W200 or W300 if it was specified by the Gov't. It was not "original equipment" only any Dodge 4X4, but ended up on many. The MU-3 is a slightly later made alternative to the MU-2, not next generation. The MU-3 lays flat, as opposed to the MU-2 which is made to be installed with the front about 2 inches higher (on the cable guides) than the rear. The MU-2 was designed for the WW II WC 3/4 ton and was used on the flat fender PW. The LU-2 was the standard factory winch for 57+later "W" series 100-200-300 civilian sheet metal PWs.
