I thought I'd save some of Joe's band width and email instead but it would not go through as written.
I like your idea of an overdrive for the NP-200. I have often wondered why one could not be built like the Warn Overdrive unit for the Jeep/Willys that replaced the planetary gear at the rear of the transfer case. It split the gears fine and as I recall worked in four wheel as well. Thirty years ago the cost was $200.
Send me your survey and I will fill it out. I have been driving the same old M-37 for thirty years with 5.83 gears and don't really want to install my 4.89s. You can certainly count me in on the purchase of one or two.
