Just a thought Jerry-- did you check Tom Langdon's Stovebolt site? He has 1BBL to 2BBL adaptors for either the 32/36 Webers or the Holley/Weber carbs. Don't know what the dimensions for the 1BBL flange side is. He has some pics in the online catalog. The 1BBL side of the adaptor is square with 4 holes allowing the carb to be mounted either direction.
