Thanks to reading several posts on the Forum, I solved a problem I was having with a bad shake at around 40 mph.
I recalled that the problem started after I did a brake job in early May where I pulled all the wheels and wheel cylinders.
At the time I forgot to mark the studs vs wheel positions
Reading one of Mikey Stone's posts reminded me of this.
So, I took the truck back in to the "18 wheeler" repair shop which does bigger truck tire and wheel work. Split rings, etc. are not an issue for them.
The same guy who trued my tires and then balanced the whole rotating assembly 3 years ago rebalanced my wheel and tires by doing them on the truck with the strobe light system they have.
He also checked the toe in while he had it.
Much improved ride now, like was before the brake job.
Moral of story, with PW tires with conventional balancing, do not change the position of the wheels on the studs once you get things set up.
Also, don't go to the local car tire shop and expect they can deal with a power wagon.
p.s. when he spun up the wheel, I could see it was really round due to the truing a few years back.
