I would think if you ran a similar setup off the front of the T-case, or back of the transmission(if there's room)...& you got yourself a proportioning valve to adjust it to work with your drums...might be a cool idea.
Certainly less buggery than installing conventional discs & since properly adjusted drums are more than adequate in stock form...I would think it would certainly improve the drums drastically. The only hassle would be the proportioning might need to be changed depending if you had it in 4wd or 2wd...& not sure if it would pull one way or the other with open diffs.
Be a fun experiment :)
