Watched an ad on TV last night with a dodge truck being loaded with hay or straw, and it kind of got me ruffled to the point where I had to get up for another cold beverage.

A guy was in the back loading bales of either hay or straw by hand, then they cut to the next scene where the truck is driving away with only two levels of hay. Really? Two levels? Since when has anyone ever loaded just 2 levels of hay? 4 levels is respectable, and normal for down the road travel. Who are they trying to kid? Next frame shows the truck loaded pretty well with what looks like either R/R ties or fence rails. The advertisements these days just get me all worked up. Buy this or buy that, you will be a better person, we promise! Let's not even get going about the trailering setups they show. Trailers too big for the weight of the truck loaded to the gills with full size construction equipment plus 2 full pallets of concrete blocks. Put any of those trucks up a 13 percent grade and see how they handle that heavy load, instead of the nice flat highway you show. Have a red flashy sportscar honking his horn trying to pass on the solid double line too. Sorry about the rant. Everyone drive safe out there.
