Nick, I think you hit the nail on the head when you say that sort of runnout could equate to 1/2" out at the wheel and tire, which is why I keep asking if the tire wobbles when you spin it by hand when it's jacked up off the ground? That could tell you a lot. I'm not sure how you would go about fixing you're bent hub flanges.
