If the axle rotates one way or the other on the springs it changes the camber. So I know you have new springs, but suppose they were sagged it would change the rotation. Or if they were too arched it would go the other way. I am not an alignment expert but have checked the transmission drive line angles along with the axle pinion angles and there are specks for all of that and will affect the steering and tracking of the front axle.
