because you ream them based on the size of each valve. that is why people have sets of reamers. so you can get the valve to fit at whatever the spec in the book is. do you have the specs? do you have micrometers? you measure the valve then choose the appropriate reamer to make the hole the right size. If you were reading the manual you would know this. ;/)
